We're currently 22nd.

While it's possible they'll greenlight 20 games this month, I doubt they'll do 30.

Weren't we at 22nd 3 months ago? Are the votes for blockland increasing or decreasing?

That's bad. Someone should post the game on Reddit or maybe even 4shared.

How do you guys know what place we are at?

Rotondo posted it, and I would imagine that Badspot told Rotondo, or Rotondo has access to the Blockland stats.
All game uploaders on Greenlight get access to stats about their game, including rate of votes and position in the leaderboard.

Crazy to think that it might take as long as 3 months to get greenlit (I wouldn't imagine more, as in 3 months we've only gone back 1 space, and should still move atleast +10 spaces with each greenlighting), which would means it's been 10 months since Greenlight started and we joined it, to us getting through.
Blockland members could've had babies in this time.

Also makes it seem like the past 7 months have gone past incredibly quickly.

He was using hyperbole.

Somebody write up a nice, professional letter to their execs that says how awesome Blockland is and telling them how much it would mean for them to greenlight it, and post it here for the rest of us to review. If nobody does this, I might.

handicapation of the greenlight page.

He didn't even look at the other videos/pictures..

It's too bad steam doesn't implement some sort of thing to show the amount of votes we need. We could use that.

It would only act like the original progress bar.
You'd have people voting on anything with lots of votes (because they seem popular) and avoiding anything that doesn't have as many votes (likely because it is newly added or doesn't have an existing community around it).

And to show how many votes you'd need would be a bit awkward.
Is that votes required to move up a position, or move to the top?
And the number of votes is only going to constantly shift as the above get more votes too.
I can't see how it would be majorly helpful at all.
It's not like you could see that you need 300 more votes to reach the top, and magically summon 300 voters to do that.
If you could, why not just do it now?

I honestly don't think we are going to make it, I say 3 more months...if we arent on steam then I am just going to give up on the idea...it would be really nice if we made it but either way I don't think a lot of people are interested in Blockland. Look at minecraft, insanely popular game that isn't on steam and had barely on advertising for it (this is discluding communtity advertising...which yes I know is what made it popular...) mostly because of how people just liked the game and the idea.

EDIT: Badspot should add the Bot update video to the greenlight page.

Badspot should just remove all the videos of pre v21 and replace them with new videos.
