Hopefully not, I don't want to have to run steam to run Blockland.
This, steam rapes all my additional programs brown townly.

Exactly, I wish Steam would be more optimized to not hoard memory usage.

But Badspot said, we'd get keys
Pretty sure you could be able to activate your current key via "Add A Game"
why go through that hassle to make new ones

stop using a stuffty computer

steam isn't the issue here, windows is caching stuff that's needed to relaunch whatever game you had launched faster. restart it every once and a while if you're running out of memory

You won't need steam for bl. Kinda like you don't need steam for portal it's just there if you want it

I don't see how that states;
Edit: I'm not saying he wouldn't, because we'd be pretty much ripped of $20 (Which I would pay again gladly anyways). However, people should stop making assumptions based on bits of information that don't exist.

OP had originally stated he would give us keys. I guess he updated it.

How would updates work, anyway?
I'm guessing non-steam installs could get it via the launcher, but steam users would need to download the update via steam somehow. (also this would be a benefit for us pre-existing users)

I have actually, and nowhere has badspot said he'd supply keys if the system does not work.
So what you're saying is that he would totally change the system and everyone has to buy new keys
oh god the logic

this person is really dumb

There are plenty of games on steam with a launcher that updates the game outside of the steam client.

I hate them all except Blockland if it makes it.

it will go something like this:
-select blockland on steam
-blockland launcher starts
-blockland launcher updates game
-blockland starts

Why are people so oblivious to the word if.
Here, let me make it bigger for you.

I have actually, and nowhere has badspot said he'd supply keys if the system does not work.

However, it's fairly improbable that the system won't work.
A whole ton of games have pulled off the key system fairly well without issue.

You really think Badspot plans to rip us all off if h ecan't integrate our keys into Steam?

I'm sure if it doesn't work he would find some way of supplying the new Steam version.

it will go something like this:
-select blockland on steam
-blockland launcher starts
-blockland launcher updates game
-blockland starts
And for those that are not familiar with this, here are some fairly popular games that do this fine.

Tribes: Ascend
APB: Reloaded
Blacklight Retribution
