You have to be loving kidding me.....

We aren't exactly helping that much. We need to show videos of all the different things blockland does differently.

we could actually do this if Badspot would put better videos on the page.
I could find a couple.

I mean we should show the eventing and the trust system and the minigame system so people will see its not just another copy paste lego game.

I think one of the issues is that this is the sort of game you have to get into, and have a very strong desire to do well in to really succeed. The speed kart gamemode helps players just get into the game and play for example, that's a very good thing.

There aren't any tutorials to go over building styles at all. I've been looking around waiting for someone to make one for ages.

Maybe I can help here.
I could do some kind of basic tutorials for building and/or scripting. (+ Eventing)
I saw some tutorials already, but the most lack on quality. The really good one's however have not that high amount of viewers, which surprises me somehow.

I might open a new channel on YT and make some simple building tutorials, following then with simple scripting tutorials, and then I will do some tutorials about bots, and generally about events(including VCE).

Btw, this user here:

made some good tutorials years ago. However, these were made, when Interiors and Terrains existed and could give "Guests" a false picture of the game.

Isn't Pablo doing some thing like that?

tip: it doesn't matter how many votes we get, it's how quickly we get them. notice how all of the quickly popular games got greenlit? there's a reason for that.

it does matter
just not as much as speed of growth

There's probably a balance between the two.

It would make no sense to say that a game that can accumulate hundreds of thousands of votes isn't worth greenlighting just because it earnt them over a larger period of time.
It's still obviously commercially viable.

But rate of votes is also quite important.
It depends what Valve is more interested in. Quick money from rapidly growing games, or money overtime from slower, more popular games. They're smart enough to decide to go for both, I'm sure.

Doesn't really seem like it.
