Yes, she is.  She doesn't use it appropriately, that's the problem.  Intellect is still present when someone's intolerant.  The issue is that she's missing a very key portion of knowledge when she expresses this intolerance.

College/Dictionary words that use scientific, latin or greek words such as Sodium Chloride which is just salt or Carchardon Carcharias which is Greek for Great White shark make people sound smart. I always thought of using big to describe something small was stupid and pointless and was only made to brag.
