proof

in case you don't see the resemblance:
the generator at the front
the broken roof is repaired in the second image
the tanks of gas/whatever on the left walls
the walkways and ladders

o u, valve
o u

further conspiracy:
cs:go map name: sugarcane
l4d2 map level: hard rain - sugarmill

What about the rest of the map?

What about the rest of the map?
well yeah
they just fixed up that section of the map from l4d2 and ported it to cs:go
you can probably do some runthroughs of both maps and find the same similarities

This is awesome, Valve is so cool.

Holy stuff that is sweet.

This is the opposite reaction that the CS community had.  Almost all of the Demolition maps are based off of L4D.

I smiled when i saw all the similarities

Valve is just awesome

Or a cheap stuff that doesn't spend money to make new original maps. Don't get me wrong, i think this is cool, but for a Cs:go map the choice was stupped.

A lot of old games do this. CoD4 uses the same building in Multiplayer twice, and once in the campain.

The Halo series remakes a lot of old maps, Blood Gulch being the most remade map of the series as it appears in every single game

But it doesn't. There are maps similar to it, but not all games have remakes.

So the question is, which came first?

It would be kind of cool if Counter Strike was set after L4D and everything was reclaimed and repaired.
