I was play this the game are fun. It have the tutorials and normal games. I don't care about the graphic game. I really like build, craft, materials, dungeons, Terrain, combat and more. Aslo you can make your own mod for this. I hope you would enjoy this really good game.

I'm not gonna lie, it looks influenced by Minecraft. But obviously it's a different game type, and this is just from looking at the pictures...I'm sure it's fun, but it's sad that people aren't more original with this stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong.

If there's a topic on this thing, I think I'll check this out. I had passed over it before because it didn't look great, but yeah...I'll check it out

how the forget does towns look influenced by minecraft.

its a dwarf fortress type of game, whatever there called.

also, first three posts are doge avatars, unless cube's is a weird cat

I love how rather than critiquing a specific part of their expectation of what the game is they instantly just compare it to other games

If you want to play that game, Dwarf Fortress is the go-to for this one. It's a more accessible, isometric-graphical version of DF.

Towns Fortress 3D.  :cookieMonster:

No, but seriously, that's why people buy it. It's easier to play and nicer graphics. What Dwarf Fortress lacks, except people don't even bother searching for tile packs in df lol or give DF a try, since lal you need'a know is the controls.

How does a top down game look influenced by Minecraft? The Blocks are the only thing that is slightly Minecrafty but the game still looks nothing like it.
Looks like a H&H clone.
You're just stupid.

As I said before: I don't think I'd play it because it's pretty much just a dumbed down Dwarf Fortress for people who have ADD and can't read a stupid tutorial to get the basic grasp for a mildly complicated game.

Looks fun, but I don't think I'd ever get time to play it.

thats a pretty stupid post.

dwarf fortress isn't fun to learn how to play and then once you do learn to play it's just a bitch to do anything because there isn't any real menu navigation, plus things are hard to look at and distinguish, regardless of whether you use a tileset or not.
Towns is much more accessible and more easily enjoyed

you have to really enjoy working towards a goal to like DF (working being the operative word)
that said I enjoy DF

dwarf fortress 3d
looks fun will try

I remember that Sips is playing this game
To me it's like...
Half appealing.

But just a glance at a cover won't do me well, huh.

dwarf fortress isn't fun to learn how to play
I disagree, part of the fun of DF for me was being able tackle an impossible looking learning curve and reap the benifits of a complicated game with tons of content.
and then once you do learn to play it's just a bitch to do anything because there isn't any real menu navigation
I can list off how to get to certain things without ever looking at the menus now so there really isn't a need for them besides when I get a little lost.
plus things are hard to look at and distinguish, regardless of whether you use a tileset or not.
It's something you just get used to, once you understand what you're looking at it becomes easy to glance across the screen and understand everything you're looking at.

Yes but that what makes the game so good, to start with you work slowly and you don't know what you're doing but after a while of playing you can throw up a base and have working productions extremely quickly. The best part is how the game never limits you on what you can do, the only thing limiting you is your own knowledge of the game.
that said I enjoy DF
Well that's good.

It total the reason Dwarf fortress is so good is because it's hard to learn and the sense of accomplishment when you finally understand it is awesome.
