Is Terrarria a good game?

    The reason I ask is because I'm interested in it, but the money I had my Mom took or something. I guess she changed her mind about buying me something for free lol. I'm not gonna get much into this, but we're having trouble selling our house and my Mom is like "OMG 10 DOLLARS LOST WILL MAKE US POOR". So is it really a good game that I would be able to convince my parents to buy?

Xbox is supposed to have more features unknown at this point.I'm not sure about multiplayer, though.
