"I didn't hear anything... what happened?" I say, with a worried look on my face.

I run up to everyone. It looks like the other pilots are alright, save for the unlucky Erusian defector.

"Does anyone have a clue on what the forget is happening right now?"

"I don't know..." I hear people running out. "Come with me," I walk outside with Alezandria, seeing the smoke of Heon's plane, "Oh my god..."

[Mikoyan]

"Oh, no..." I bury my face in my hands.

I run to the wreckage of Heon's plane.
"No. No. NO. NO!"

I sigh. "We're gonna need Skyeye to sent somebody who isn't vulnerable to flak take that stuff down. We can't have a flak emplacement that close to our home base."

"No, lets just get the groundpounders to do it."

"God damn, what the hell..."

All that's left of Heon's F-22 is a smoldering wreck. Ground crews everywhere are rushing to the site of the crash. So far, it doesn't look like there are any signs of Heon's escape. I suddenly hear the others talk about a flak gun.

"A flak gun... I'm not exactly sure if that's possible. We've secured the surrounding area for miles, and there's no way that a flak gun encampment would go unnoticed." I let out a sigh. "There's too many things wrong with this picture. Even if it was just a flak shell, Heon's aircraft wouldn't have exploded so suddenly without any warning..."

There were still more unanswered questions. How did the second jet take any damage if there was no flak encampment? And why wasn't put the base on alert?

I was trying to run through all of the possibilities when a question suddenly forms in my mind. Sky Eye... Wait, where is he?

... "Hey! Has anyone seen Sky Eye since the explosion?"
