We need a goddamn ingame recorder. So we don't have "Unregistered Hypercam 3" or "Bandicam.com" watermarks. Also we need HD recording, direct videos, and built in hud remover.

Maybe even an ingame video editor if your up for it.

how about you buy either of those things you ninny. this kind of technology is hard to produce correctly and would be a waste of time for badspot or a community member

Creating a good Blockland video cannot be done with free software.
You need:
FRAPS ($37)
an Editor ($100+)
and a YouTube account.

This isn't Team Fortress 2 where you can record video in-game, edit it in-game, and then publish it.

that's not a viable excuse to start asking people to give you free stuff.

Blockland used to be able to record demos, but those weren't good and starting a recording would sometimes break the map's lighting and .dem files couldn't have anything done with them other than recording them with a third party program, so either way, you'd be using a third party recording program to get the game's footage

Except you could record a demo at maximum FPS, play the demo, and record the demo with a 3rd party software at a constant 60FPS.

I think there's a slight slow down while recording actual gameplay with programs like Fraps, aren't demos also slowed down because it's still gameplay?

I wonder if it's possible to bring back demos, but make them better somehow so that people would want to use it more, that seems like something only Badspot can do, but still

Fraps is really pretty good though. And @Freek, there are plenty of great free video editing programs, you don't necessarily need to spend money on those.

Gimme a tutorial on how to use fraps then.

look it up yourself

also: you can find a lot of free video recording programs but if you want to make GOOD videos you need to buy one.

Ingame recording using blockland is impossible unless badspot makes it possible
