Anything Sonic.
Still Alive- Mirror's Edge version.
Portal 2 music.

the entire pokemon leafgreen soundtrack is great.
then there's portal 2 (which includes exile, vilify)
and uhhhh
skyrim's was pretty good for the theme

Pokemon G/S/C - Champion Battle Theme

Pokemon R/B/Y - Champion Battle Theme

the last good pokemon champion themes (cynthia's was okay) and the biggest nostalgia trips I will ever have, hearing the chime of the pokemon indicator at 0:05 in the G/S/C one makes me shiver every time

edit: as for modern music, every song from bastion

Bastion - Spike in a Rail
Is Bastion music just extremely memorable and loving amazing or is it just me
without even thinking about the title i remembered the map that was featured on when it started playing

it's not just you, it's a fantastic game

I bought the soundtrack because it's so fantastic, and I've only bought three soundtracks in my life (bastion, binding of isaac, and one of the pokemon movie ones when I was 8)

Metal Gear Solid: Encounter ("!")

Half-Life 1: Soundtrack

Silent Hill Soundtrack

Portal: Still Alive

Final Fantasy mystic quest boss theme
FFVI boss theme
SSBM final destination
FFX seymour battle theme
Every soundtrack in Borderlands
Trackmania United Forever Coast theme
