monster hunter tri: is it good? do people still play it?

I was thinking of getting monster hunter tri perhaps this weekend because of how loving amazing this hidden gem looks
I've watched countless gameplays and it looks right up my alley
at only 20 dollars, what's not to love?

Yes its a great game and actually when you go on adhoc party on ps3 (when i look for metal gear peace walker rooms) i found a ton of monster hunter party/rooms

Adhoc party is a way to play online cause most psp games to play with people you need to be close so yeah every room in there was for psp games most being monster hunter

and just realized he ment the wii one stupid me
