as soon as someone reasonably competent decides to put a RAT on your server you're forgeted.

This is your problem. You realize people can close other people's servers, make as many copies as they want of their own, spam your dedicated server and cause mayhem? Even if you kick them out, people can keep messing with your dedicated server.

Guys, are you forgetting this? Seriously get remote start/stop and console control otherwise you seriously are screwed. I am warning you right now. If you get some start/stop or remote console then you will be fine..

This service CAN work, but remote desktop is highly abusive.

I know I have a good Intel Xeon quad-core 3.1ghz 4GB tower server at home, but your internet throughput looks a lot faster than my crappy residential upload. I'll use it only for private servers, probably.
