i love how you guys are positive antivirus will solve your virus problems.

viruses can be hidden. 'crypted' is the word. your av won't protect you forever, and a day of lapse is all it takes...

unrelated: can i get just ftp for file storage? less than a gigabytes worth, i wish to use it for quick transfers at school.
i don't need rdp or anything.

Any crypter worth it's stuff can protect from AV.

You should just make it more secure instead of setting up bloated antivirus programs that hoard memory.

+1

Plus, last time I checked, several RAT programs spread from LAN networks, user accounts, and FTP. So, if someone spreads a RAT to your user account, your server and console are in their hands. That is not good.

Why can I not login to the server via Remote Desktop Connection. It says my account has been de-activated.

well that's a worm. Once the rat is in place it could basically do vnc.
And arguably, you could exploit a bug in the ftp server to execute code, but you're probably fine if you keep that updated.

Overall, this server has numerous security problems and should not be used by anyone who enjoys having control of their server. The owner is not keen on computer security and it provides quite a bit of space for skids to hijack your server, plus the control of the server is very unprofessional. Teamviewer? Really? 3/10 server, 3 only for server speed and performance.

Blackshades RAT and a couple others include all in one crypters that include a spreading feature. That's what I was talking about.

I'm sticking with it, I'm not that worried, however I am taking a risk but I do admit, I enjoy the server's performance.

I only used teamviewer so he could help me set the stuff up.

is this a company

also because it is down
:[
I'm not a company, the people who host my non-profit organization is a company (ReadyMakers.com)

can i get just ftp for file storage? less than a gigabytes worth, i wish to use it for quick transfers at school.

PM Me with details

The ReadyMakers security staff are also checking the server regulary, every hour to check for any security issues like virus' or RATs etc....

PHASE 2 of 34 Complete.
Phase 1 - Disallow remote connections through TeamViewer and the RDP(Remote Desktop Protocol), Save bricks on all servers and closed down.
Phase 2 - Fresh Install of Blockland

NEXT (ReadyMakers have given me the go-ahead):
Phase 3 - Upload Hosted .bls save files and Start All BL Servers.
Phase 4 - Allow FTP Access (SEND ME USERNAMES AND PASSWORDS) and Allow Remote Connections through TeamViewer and RDP(Remote Desktop Protocol)

When I said  "When can I get my server up?"

I actually meant "When can I get an account?"
