For me, Code lyoko would be a religion. Its moral lessons would focus around the values of uncompromising friendship and loyalty even in the face of overwhelming odds.
Aelita would be the goddess of friendship and affection. Her virtues would include sacrificing to protect others and unwavering determination. Her arch-enemy is the demon-god XANA, and the gods Jeremie, Odd, Ulrich and Yumi are her allies. She is in love with the god Jeremie, and when together with him, their love for each other, in combination with the friendship they and their other 3 friends share, is the only thing strong enough to defeat XANA.
Jeremie would be the god of wisdom and intelligence. His virtues would include caution and courage in the face of great danger, and cooperation. He is in love with the beautiful goddess Aelita.
Odd would be the god of food, romance and humor. His virtues would include being able to always make others laugh, and to always find a way out of every bad situation.
Ulrich would be the god of combat, masculinity, and strength. His virtues would include dependability, cunning and strategic thinking to solve problems.
Yumi would be the god of endurance and honor. Her virtues would include an unbreakable spirit, respect of tradition and loyalty to friends.
Finally, X.A.N.A. would be the god of pure evil; the devil itself. His virtues would include deception, manipulation and hate for everything the other gods stand for. He is very powerful, and he is able to possess seafood platters and samurai armor to attack people with lasers and static electricity.
