Alright, Can someone make a script so during daytime Shadows go to MAX (Or make like a GUI to set it to whatever quality you want) and when it turns to night it turns to OFF. Because Its like really annoying to have to change the shadow setting every time it turns from Day to night. I figured since the player light turns on during a dark map this is totally possible as well.

This is going to lag. No video game has ever had a feature that automatically adjusts graphics settings that works well.

Besides, the server can't force the clients to change their graphics settings.




I don't know what daycycle information is obtainable client-side.
if you don't like the darkness of night, then why have night? Just turn off the daycycle? (Assuming this is for playing on your own server)

On Port's server when I tried it was actually much darker without shaders than with.

Its not that, I just want a client sided add-on that turns off shaders in dark maps, I dont want to completely remove night because im to lazy to go into options every day/night to change shaders on/off.

What he wants is a add-on that sets shader quality to minimum when it's nighttime because shadows aren't visible during night
