obviously right now.

this stuff is kinda all over the place in the downloads department. I wish mod creators would just send a pre-made .jar instead of telling us to place all their jackstuff files into one central location (which can easily be avoided by giving us just the damn .jar).

ex. Minecraft forge README

i love how they dont go in one central location(jar/mods folder) and how its illegal to distribute anything mojang created.

There should be a mod that locks chests if the owner is not online.

it's a good idea, unfortunately everything takes way to loving long to acomplish. you want some food? too bad, any crop takes like ten hours IRL to grow. you want to grow animals? too bad, you need the loving crops for that, and you need a massive farm because animals eat all the time. it also takes about 3 hours per birth. you want some building materials? too bad, you need to find bits of metal then craft them into molten metal to craft into an ingot to craft into a pickaxe so you ca go out and find a vein of ore so you can make a chisel.

if the game had the same mechanics but everything simply took less time it would be feasible, but actual TFC factions would be more like playing one of those roman city RTS games than a faction based pvp game with building elements.

except you get around 2 stacks of beef from killing a small group of cows

so uh

yeah

and foraging around for metal isn't hard lol, especially copper. you find forgettons of it everywhere.
