Author Topic: I just took my ACT and scored a 25  (Read 2371 times)

I took the ACT plus writing this September and it was hard as hell. I'm in my freshman year and I just made a 25 my first time around

I'm pretty happy with that but I think I can get up into the thirties if I don't forget up between now and my senior year

Im used to SAT scoring, what is the low/average/high for the ACT?

act?
my mind went blank
Its an alternative to the ACT administered by a different group, though Im not sure exactly. Its like their competitor.

1-36

18-21 is average for highschool grads

30-36 get you into Ivy League schools

Meh I wouldnt study for them or anything, theyre not counted. Its a nice practice for the SAT though and if this is your first one Id wait it out and focus on the areas you do poorly.

I think SAT is Scholastic Aptitude Test, and the P in PSAT stands for Pre.

No idea about ACT though. I googled and it stands for American College Testing.

everyone in the thread so far is 1-3 years older than me so probably not...?

ACT = American College Testing.

PSAT = Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Test

I'll be honest, I just searched up PSAT on Google and went to an abbreviations site. It was the first result. :/

I took the practice ACT Sophomore year (last year) and got a 28

Pretty sure I officially take it this year as a Junior now, hoping to get at least a 30 or over.
