I had a laptop with a preview of windows 8 on it.

I hated it so much, i couldn't even figure out how to manually shutdown, log off, or restart.
If you mouse to the left (or right i dont remember) it would show the desktop or the start menu, which really annoyed me.

It was better than using vista however.

i haven't had any problems with vista, from what I read, people have either tried to do something with it. I think it's better than 8

You can Alt-Win through all open programs quickly, including desktop.

Windows 8 actually looks really good. The new IE isn't bad, and I have found Windows Live services very useful. I'm looking forwards to this.
