Yeah, on my first forum, I went to old threads because I wanted to breathe new life into them. :V

The reason a thread falls off the front page is because discussion relevant to it has been exhausted. Otherwise, it would be continually bumped back to the top even if it slips off the front page. Hence breathing new life into them is pointless, you'll only force the thread to suffer a second death.

I also believe this is a well said statement, because we were all new at some time, and we all probably bumped topics at least once. Grant it 10 or more is a little overboard. But maybe Badspot should make some sort of rule about bumping topics, so people know not to do it.
