Ah, the final chapters of the life of every MMO. Replaced by something better, the company decides to pass away into the halls of gaming history and close down the game that made them famous. A bittersweet event indeed.

And I should clarify that I'm not a CoH player; I tried it for three minutes until I realized the combat system was just as boring as WoW's and that my toaster could never run it smoothly even on lowest settings.

That's what some do, which I think is really nice.  Really more of a "lets at least end this on a bang instead of letting it just die unnoticed".
