Author Topic: A moment of complete peace  (Read 1639 times)

So earlier this evening I got dragged along to a contradance, but when we got there I decided to just stay in the car. I had some music on soundcloud and I kept repeating it; I played shopping cart hero and angry gran. I got tired of that music after a little while and I moved on to listening to The Tree by Klippa. That got me into a really calm mood and eventually I just opened up a game called Naught and listened to the main menu music, put down the iPhone and stared at nothing. In just a couple of minutes, I was more relaxed than I've been so far this year and infinitely patient.
It only lasted for so long, of course, but I'm still feeling absolutely calm.

Anyone had any similar experiences?

I turned on my music while walking down the school hallway.
Forever peace (until I got to class)

Everything was sooo smooth while walking.

Nope, never.
There is always something on my mind I can't figure out.

That's a shame
I've never been able to meditate though, is this what meditation is like?

Meditation is a state that is similar to pure sleep, and death.

I have no clue what it is but I love it when things go to a complete peace and you can block everything out.

I usually have something on my mind but when I get the headphones on with the right scenario I can escape reality.

Meditation is easy. Close your eyes and think of all pains being relieved. (seriously, try it.)

Listen to this.
Listening to it and closing your eyes makes you feel pretty damn peaceful.

Have you been doing drugs

Lucid dreams are the best place for me.

Infinite silence.

I prefer to be energetic and constantly moving as opposed to completely calm. I basically prefer feeling alive as opposed to dead.

you know how i relax?

play a racing game and drive a car extremely fast

i sometimes remember when i'm listening to calming music, then i only remember hearing the first part of the song because i was so zoned out.
