freedom of happiness, not freedom of doing things that amount to good health.
To put others at risk?  You're not entirely accountable for your actions while you're drunk, and in turn are bound to make decisions which are far from your normal ones.  Go ahead and pleasure yourself, but doing it with the knowledge that you're A: harming your body or B: increasing the ability to cause danger around you implies that you're an ignorant fool.

Wait a minute, people are actually trying to justify the consumption of alcohol?  Hahaha, let the fun begin!

People who drink alcohol responsibly have been shown to have a lower risk of clot related complications. It's a blood thinner.

Not everybody who drinks alcohol gets piss drunk lol.
Being drunk doesn't even sound fun.
I like to jump on the trampoline, but I could break bones, do I have to stop doing that because I put my body at risk?

Jumping on a trampoline has a pretty low chance of hurting you. Alcohol will hurt you.

EDIT: This isn't to say a glass of wine once a week will destroy you or anything, lol. Just that it's inherently harmful. Small, infrequent doses obviously being far less harmful than getting hammered every night.

Every now and then i have a little bit of wine because it's nice. I prefer aged wines mostly from the 1800's when i get the chance. They are quite hard to obtain but when offered a glass never hurts.

Every now and then i get a tad bit of Vodka. Best mother ever.

Most people don't horribly wreck their liver.

I'm not even talking about getting drunk just drinking

I understand from your experiences that you have an aversion to it

but I don't think there's anything wrong with drinking

and it's been argued that small amounts can be good for you

Alcohol will hurt you.
Someone doesn't know their facts.
Drinking alcohol responsibly has no adverse affects on a human being.

I drink alcohol every time im in Germany, but not in the states. (I go there every year or so to see my grandma). Dark beer made by the monks is amazing!

Like my grandparents say. The only people who die from alcohol are the people who don't drink it.

Because I fear you're going to throw this into a nitpicking argument, let me nitpick first.  Statistically speaking, alcohol causes severe mental hinderences + more injury than trampolines.  You increase muscle mass by jumping on a trampoline.  Any physical activity can be harmful.  However, while drunk, you're no longer under complete control.  Yes, I understand that not everyone gets stufffaced, but that doesn't imply that the risk factor is immediately ridden of.

This does NOT outweigh the detriments of the drug.  "Yeah I cut off my arm, but it allowed me to drop a serious amount of weight!"

Drinking alcohol responsibly has no adverse affects on a human being.
"Women who drink even one alcoholic beverage a day have an increased risk of some cancers (especially breast cancer), according to new research done at Oxford on nearly 1.3 million women. Says lead author Naomi Allen, Ph.D., “There is mounting evidence that even drinking alcohol in moderation can increase estrogen, which in turn directly raises the risk of breast cancer.”"

*picks up beer*
*immedietally becomes hammered*
Lalam's logic lol.

Read the edit, please.
You also do realise that alcohol is toxic to the human body, right?  A single drink can portray intoxication and dehydration.

Which isn't what I said, at all?  Oh boy, using a nonexistent implication to try and benefit your argument!  You certainly are a stupid little child, aren't you :)
