Also whoever thought going from icons to massive plain tiles that take up more room while removing the start button was an idiot in my opinion.

Our teachers get ipads for free
Totally worth paying 3x normal taxes

Windows 8 look and acts like a phone OS. No kidding.

Looks like Microsoft is desperate.

My sister is in a class that is only five kids with an awesome teacher and they have computers with no Internet restrictions and free rein with them.

My friend had a laptop with something that was like windows 8 and 7 combined.
Of course i have no real proof, but he had a background with images he could drag and drop anywhere he wanted.
But i really hate windows 8 because its based around having a touch screen.

Our school has Windows 7 laptops and mac desktops. its pretty kewl.

Our school has XP on the majority of the machines simply because some of the computers do not run 7 well and some of them would need a lot of time to configure correctly, though we have enterprise copies of 7. We also have all sorts of special Microsoft remote desktop operating systems, some of which use the Windows 8 interface.

My last school had XP. Pretty neat OS.

My school has Windows XP but you can't do stuff. When you turn it off or the computer has been on for 24 hours it will reset everything back to its original settings. That means no customizationlike Desktop backgrounds or screensavers

You're meant to work on the computers, not forget around on them.
