Windows 8 on school laptops.

My school was using nice XPs but they are converting to Macs and it is not fun.

I mean the security is terrible. They forgot all about X11

my school uses windows 7 on all the computers, we also have touch screens with huge monitors in all of the business ed and tech classes.

I hate Macs and their OS, I prefer windows, but I prefer apple devices over windows devices.

iPads aren't thin. Plus, if it wasn't for them being made then your Samsung galaxy wouldn't be what it is today.

Our school-
Every computer save 30 something out of 200 use windows XP, with IE6(they won't change to something more effiecient), and it sucks pretty bad.
Hell the windows 7 comps use IE6*

I am buying Windows 7 and also getting that $15 upgrade to Windows 8, but using Windows 8 on a desktop doesn't really seem that great to me.  I'm using the release preview and there are alot of technical and graphical issues that I find unattractive.

They removed the start button, I'm staying with windows 7 for a long time.
