It's funny how you act like you contain massive ammounts of knowledge on the Torque Engine but in reality you don't. How is 'using any other engine for blockland unnecessary' if it could, in reality, make a game like this 10x better?

No, it's called piecing things together and using common sense. It was either kompressor or Badspot that explained why it would be a bad idea,
at any point of development. I'm positive they made a couple other posts explaining it.
Regardless, you don't need to have "massive amounts of knowledge on the Torque Engine" to know Blockland doesn't need to be ported to another engine. It wouldn't be worth the time, money and bug fixes.
there are so many things that other engines have that aren't necessary for blockland. so what! their features would make the game 10x more awesome, necessary or not.
I completely agree with this. We might as well see if Badspot will port the game to the Source Engine, maybe we could get some cloth physics!
