I'm sure it works great at long distance, but you aren't proving anything posting close ups of soldiers who are very visible.

I agree
But i can only post what they release
Not a good way to get people to use their camo
:/

ya

Well, considering the fact that they melt after prolonged fire...
they fixed that but they didn't want to waste any more money on the project

wikipedia doesn't know everything you know

the XM8 wasn't the best G36 branch-off but it wasn't the worst

The amount of loving ignorance in here concerning Kevlar and other body armor is astounding

btu kevlr can tak 40mm grenad to chest rite??!

and the fact that you would have to cover you're entire self in it which means it would hot and heavy
Its that or be dead.

IF we can make an armor plating that could withstand standard rifle ammunition. We would not have a need for camouflage.
They mentioned this on some history channel show. Basically, they said that weapons have always just barely outpaced armor.

Even longbows or crossbows were more advanced than the armor of the era.

"The best strategy is to kill them while they are laughing."
loving right.

Marine Corp's MARPAT, forget yeah!

Honestly I think Kryptek would be really really good for medium to long distance combat, IE the kind of thing you're normally going to be doing. Probably. I really don't think you often get closer than 30 meters without getting shot to death.

eww^^^
Are you serious?

MARPAT is one of the loveiest looking camouflage designs.

Problem is combat has transitioned to more close quarters combat now.

No cammo is effective at 30 meters unless it is the exact look of your background, this is why most operations involving a small group of guys fighting in close quarters is don't at night. The best camoauge is lack of light.
