DigiPen Institute of Technology.

You've played some of their games, no doubt.

That's in Redmond, about 10 minutes from where I live.

Edit:actually laughed a little when I read this

you should realize that you will be taking SATs/ACTs junior and senior year, and working on college essays and supplemental essays during your senior year.

Okay, I'll start thinking about it my junior and senior year.

Okay, I'll start thinking about it my junior and senior year.

Make it easier on yourself, think about it in your sophomore year. Get an idea for what direction you want to go, and start reaching out to colleges before your junior year. Seems excessive and silly, but you won't regret it. Expect to take SAT or ACT junior year, and really put emphasis on your grades. Junior and senior grades are vital, because colleges really look for improvement over the course of your high school career as well as the rigor of the classes you take.

Tip to keep in mind for what I'm guessing is a ways off for you: senior year, second semester. Once you're admitted to college (you'll be done with the app process and await decisions before spring senior year. But once you get accepted somewhere, don't slack off in school. Schools can and will redact your admission if they see that your grades have gone to crap in the last semester.

Actually, I have been doing a little thinking about my future lately, now that I think about it! I took the ACT last year (to prepare and stuff) and have been working really hard at getting good grades this year. Though still I have no idea what colleges I might want to go to. I'll keep that stuff in mind, thanks dude.

What grade are you in? Just curious.

Also, you're welcome.

I'm a sophomore.

Cool, one thing to keep in mind for the SAT next year (if you choose to take it), most schools will take a super score. Meaning if you take the test 3 times, and score better on Math one time, score better on Reading one time, or score better on Writing one time, they'll look at only your best scores from each of the categories. So take it twice if you think you can improve on at least one area.

Georgia State
Clark Atlanta University
Georgia Tech

some more that I forget.

I'm a sophomore and I'm not going to look into colleges atm :P

I already have to fundraise 500 bucks for my robotics team, practice gymnastics, and get decent grades.

I believe so. I don't know much about the competition, I just get the money :P

I was planning on Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Pretty campus, nice environment, plenty of history. I took a tour there for a field trip about a week ago, along with the University of Dayton. Miami was the clear superior. UD has too much... community. It feels almost like that "WE AAAAALL BUNDLE" commercial.
