I didn't laugh because that is extremely cruel and you should be ashamed for thinking it.
lighten up.

It's not your business to tell her what to do with her body.
actually it is when someone's eating themself to death (not referring to video). humans are supposed to look out for each other, not ignore each other and "leave everyone alone". that kind of mentality is what destroys societies, when everyone just "minds their own business".

yes it is

we dont want her spreading her genetic code that could make MORE fat people
Thats not how it works. That or I probably missed the joke

It's not your business to tell her what to do with her body.
It is when I have to sit next to the likes of her at a place with closely packed chairs.

"eating themselves to death" gives the wrong intention btw

Then I guess it's my responsibility to keep you from spreading your genetic code to make MORE dumb people.

i mean like fat people who are eating so much but keep doing it even though it's gonna kill them eventually. people should step in and stop others from doing that.

i know but if you just heard 'eating themselves to death" gives the wrong idea that instead of eating to kill they are literally EATING THEMSELVES

I never said it's not unhealthy. I said it isn't your business to tell her what to do with her body. There's a lot more to losing weight than just going out to exercise. There are people who are predisposed to get obese easily because of genetic disorders, or even people who are caught in a cycle of depression and can't gather the willpower to do that. You have to change your entire lifestyle, from how you spend your time to the very food you eat. It's not a simple process. Losing weight might take awhile as well.

He had truth to his words but attacks like these really aren't acceptable. Putting someone down like that isn't justifiable. This whole fat-shaming thing is the reason young girls stick their fingers in their mouths and throw up their food to be skinny. He made it sound like a crime. There's a distinct difference between showing concern for another human being's health and attacking them for their choices.

You don't even know if she's been trying to lose weight.

*fixiert
ur cool

The news anchor had some pretty stuffty rebuttals, but the guy who sent her the email is still wrong.

Plenty of people are obese due to circumstances they cannot control, and it can't be likened to just a, "bad habit".

She shouldn't have called him a bully though because all it does is make her look childish. The guy isn't deliberately trying to piss her off, he's just misinformed.

So she's going to completely ignore the fact that she IS overweight and needs to change her lifestyle?  The guy in the email had a hard-truthed point
What? She discussed that she knew she was overweight.

The guys a douche and should hop out of her business. I could understand telling a friend or family member that youre concerned about their weight but its none of your business, especially when its just a random stranger from TV.

Wrong. If you seriously think he sent that email because he was genuinely concerned with her health, youre far too gullible.

Losing weight is easy. It doesn't require exercise, just eat less.

People gain weight when they have a greater input of calories than output. Regardless of any genetic conditions, having less input than output will cause you to lose weight. The only conditions where this is not healthy is when the difference is super big.

so are they both wrong or what

i know but if you just heard 'eating themselves to death" gives the wrong idea that instead of eating to kill they are literally EATING THEMSELVES
well it's not like someone's that dumb they'll take it that literally. unless of course it's actually the case which is prob. never gonna happen anyway

There's also eating disorders, which can't be solved by just, "eating less" because that's literally what defines the illness.

Yes.  Starve yourself.  Good plan!
