And it probably goes even deeper

"Watcha in here for kid?"

"I called a kid a cigaretteet on facebook."

Holy loving stuff, apparently protesting against Romney is illegal in the philippines? Even mentioning him can put you behind bars?
I can't tell whether they extremely like Romney, or Obama.

But seriously, what?!

Anything offensive to anyone can get you jailed.
That's how stuff this act is.

If someone finds ANYTHING you said offensive, rest in peace.

If Ive learned anything from society, it is that our generation will risk life and limb to keep the Internet unrestricted with free speech. These people are loving fools to pass such an act and even more foolish to try and spread it. There will be violence, there will be revolts, this will anger an entire generation.

The older generation should have no say with this technology that they simple don't understand. The Internet cannot be controlled or regulated.

One day we will be the ones trying to control the younger generations. What if there is technology that puts the consciousness of a human inside of a computer, or get some sort of holodeck like thing? my guess is we would be living in world like surrogate, but instead humans dont go outside anymore.

I think Badspot would lose all of his customers because of them going to jail if this law was enacted in the US. Badspot would probably be a jail too. In fact everyone so many people would be in jail

What if it came to America?

I think we'd all be in jail :D

Unconstitutional.

forget no.

Still unconstitutional. Second amendment says right to free speech, and this counts. We are allowed to complain about governments and stuff, however slander and intentionally harmful talk is not exempt.
#Has no idea what they're talking about #Keeps talking anyways #Hoping somebody will say something to confirm/deny

Anybody concerned about this spreading to the US: This says that speaking out against politicians becomes illegal, and that is against the constitution, and is therefore not going to pass. Even if the legislative branch decides it wants it to happen, the Judicial will down it.

First Amendment is right to free speech(other somewhat limited), your beliefs(religion), music, art, are all protected. The Second Amendment is the right to bare arms and have a militia.
