Author Topic: Anyone a Boy Scout?  (Read 2565 times)

I'm currently a Life scout working on my eagle project, Troop 200, NC, largest troop in the state (roughly 100+ kids)
I'm also in crew, mostly for scuba diving and shooting. My dad was the pack leader while I was a cub scout, and now in my troop I'm one of the 4 Troop Quartermasters, but whenever the ASPL / SPL can't make it to a meeting / camp out, I cover for them c:

Sad to see so much disrespect towards boyscouts, even by internet standards.

Mine had about 13 people and we didn't do to much unless we found a way to do it.

What?
I didn't see a single disrespectful thing said towards them in this thread

I'm not being disrespectful to boyscouts as a whole.

Just my troop.

Which is completely fair criticism because my troop did suck.

I'm a boy scout
but not for much longer

Turning 18 in a couple of days, just turned in my Eagle book to the council office, so hopefully I'll be an Eagle scout in a month or two

how was your first time getting molested

I'd consider that disrespectful. Yeah stuff happens and it gets blown up in the news, but thats what, 1 in a million cases. Theres no way to tell whos some creepy old perv until its too late.
Further, I didn't necessarily mean disrespect on this forum. Nowadays you tell someone your a boyscout, they laugh. Tbh, aside from my fellow scouts, if something happened, I doubt anyone in my entire school except our ONE police officer could handle it.

Turning 18 in a couple of days

order some rip off stuff from tv for me

forget boyscouts, 4h is better

I used to be, but I quit because they are pretty discriminatory.

I was one, then I turned 18.

Sad day one year ago in a few days.

Are you a gay atheist?

I was. Then I just kind if stopped going to meetings and such, so I just dropped out. It was fun while it lasted, specially the outings, like summer camp.
