I don't have a problem with what's on cartoon network atm.

Some dumb shows did manage to slip by.

Regular show is probably the best thing to happen to the network in awhile.

I'll judge them like this.

Regular Show, Adventure Time - Awesome
Chowder, Gumball - Good
Flapjack - stuff

Adventure time was pretty good before it gained a cult like following who wear stuffty backpacks and hats and constantly quote stupid crap from the show. Spoiler alert, no one loving cares about lady rainicorn or princess bubble gum,  stop trying to make people read your god damn fanfics.

the looney toons show, as an example of a misguided show, would be better off not being looney toons because i think some of the jokes provide a chuckle or two but the fact that they are cartoon characters, normally in slapstick humor, portrayed as living normal modern lives doesn't work out, along with the fact that children probably don't get some of the jokes.

i enjoy adventure time because it has a distinct simplistic artstyle and its entertaining to say the least. i like regular show because it always goes out of the norm to break away from the expected, however when you realize that the fun of it dissapates a bit, and some of the characters are unenjoyable. but of course i still relish in old shows such as ed, edd, and eddy, because it is supposed to depict nearly every kind of child you'd have in your neighborhood, if that a rural, suburban area, and they don't have too many characters to keep up with, and they are so distinguishable that it won't be hard to forget them. other shows i enjoyed were tom and jerry, courage, chowder, sometimes camp lazlo, billy and mandy, samurai jack, dexter's laboratory, johnny bravo  and i know there are some more but i can't think of them.

let us take this time to take a moment of silence for older shows that no one likes.

-out of jimmy's head
-the life and times of juniper lee
-uhh i'll get back to you on that one i totally forgot other ones

This, really.

Anyone who wears a cartoon character bookbag to high/middle school is weird as forget.

we can all blame hot topic for this.

a big forget you to hot topic for also ruining Portal 2. Fat chicks who spout out "THE CAKE IS A LIE" memes wearing a loving lemon grenade shirt. When asked "Whats your favorite part?" they say "LOL IDK".

do your part, burn down your local (or at a state wise scale) hot topic.

woah I never noticed this.
and I used to watch code lyoko alot.

yeah
here's a quick list of all the stuff i can remember off the top of my head right now:

  • In the episode where Odd and Yumi accidentally switch bodies, odd is talking with the group about how he liked being a guy so much better and was like "for example, there's this thing you're wearing that's really itching my back. i think it's the strap to your... (he was about to say bra)" and she replies with "dont you DARE take it off!"
  • In multiple epsides, there is a heavily reused scene of Yumi talking to someone on a cellphone while in her underpants in the bathroom
  • In what was the pilot episode, there's a scene with yumi in a bathtub. nothing explicit is shown of course but we see her get out of the tub, but lower legs and below seen only. we then see a medium-distance shot of her in just a towel.
  • In the episode where Odd accidentally gets his genetic code combined with his dog, he is in his dorm room with the group as they discuss what to do, and he suddenly pulls down his pants in front of everyone, but the shot cuts before we see anything explicit. the next moment, aelita is covering her eyes, jeremy says "cut it out!", shields himself with his computer, and everyone else does likewise; it completely implies that odd's naked from the waist down.
  • There are several scenes in multiple episodes of odd, ulrich and other boys in the boy's bathroom dressed in nothing but towels, and odd dances around while wearing one, just after coming out of the shower.
  • There is an infrequently reused scene of Aelita (who is usually considered the "innocent little girl" character) taking a shower. we can see some cleavage (and almost see her breasts) and it shows her from there to above during a moment when she's nude while under the showerhead, and also a shot of her throwing all her clothes on the floor.
  • In the pilot episode, there is a scene where we see the school principal's daughter sissi dressed in nothing but a bra and panties in her room, and a shot focusing on the wall when she throws her clothes against it.
  • In one scene, yumi and ulrich are trapped in a very hot room and are forced to strip down to their underpants, displaying obvious embarrassment.
  • In one of the early second season episodes, there's a scene where aelita goes into the boy's bathroom, and after she closes the door we hear lots of shouting and screaming. it's suggested some of the male characters were nude and then put towels on to cover themselves, then they shout "get her out of here!".
  • (Unsure about this one) I believe there was a scene at a pool where it's implied a girl's top came off while she was in the pool, and she floats to the top and reacts with embarrassment.
  • In one episode, XANA possesses a vine to go up yumi's shirt.

there's probably many more examples of this kind of borderline innuendo in the show too.
