Baroque and Classical don't even have any lyrics to understand.  You just don't have the taste for this genre of music.

If I want to get into a genre/ band, I don't feel like I have to look up lyrics constantly.

other than that, I like a bit of everything besides country and metal (and any of their offshoots)
recently I've been listening to a lot of electroswing, beatles, fiona apple, regina spektor, flobots, professor kliq (only a couple of his songs really), gorillaz, the shins (saw them in concert 2 nights ago), and feist
among others, but the list above is mainly it

I just can't stand that type of music, with lyrics or without.

I just don't like screamo because it's grating and loud. The musical equivalent of holding my ear against a belt sander.

Classic rock, drum&bass, rock, blues and whatever you would categorize John Butler and Xavier Rudd as.

Any kind of music that falls in the genres of Screamo, Death Metal, Heavy Fearstep or any other loud obnoxious music should not exist and it disgraces real music like Classical and Light Rock.
