Author Topic: Suggestion Extension- multinaming bricks  (Read 492 times)

I remember reading a thread about the ability to name a bricks, then name it into a subgroup.  What if it had more namable slots.  I'd find this extremely helpful.

This would be extremely useful. Let's say you have a moving thing and you want another button that moves only a part of that.

BRICK:
Name1: door
Name2: ____

SOME OTHER BRICK:
Name1: door
Name2: half_door

Been suggested before, great idea
I wish there were official support for this so people won't have to screw around with half-bit mods

This would work great with this format:
Name : [Somenamehere]
[ "Add a sub-name" (button) ]

Then the sub-name box appears, and you can add more and more sub-names by clicking the button again.

I would absolutely love to see this implemented, but to get it to work at a user-friendly level it would require Badspot changing things, which if he bothered to do that he could basically just do it himself.

Which I doubt will happen.

However I absolutely support this

You already have infinite named brick possibilities, I'm not sure why you want to add another...

If you look at the thread I posted it will explain some uses of it

Your suggestion was for the ability to have a sub name, for making groups.  Mine is infinite, or really high, names.
