Author Topic: do you want to speak in a different accent?  (Read 3385 times)

Americans do definitely have accents.
Painful and ear-raping accents.
Nah, that's really just the south and the east coast.

Even though I was born in the UK, we moved to Canada for a while, and I got my accent there.

I do quite like my Canadian accent, but there are a lot of other accents I wish I had. British, German, Australian and maybe Russian.

Edit: What does a Dutch accent sound like? I have no idea.

Anyone else like to hear an accent and try to break it down into two or three different accents?

Like, how a Northern British accent sounds like an English accent crossed with a Scottish accent?

On that note, is the preferred term "British" or "English"?

My voice is very monotone so it would not change much ;_;

I can litteraly imitate any accent.

My normal accent is Canadian.

Are you me?

I can also imitate a lot of accents.

I do not speak with an accent. I prefer it that way, though it would be cool to be able to imitate accents.

I wish that I sounded like Arnold Schwarzenegger, but a little bit more German.

I want to slap people who say Americans don't have an accent.

It's called an American accent, guys.

To the UK users here, are there people over there who say they don't have accents?

Hell, if I know.

I know that there's a few forumers from either Denmark or the Netherlands here.  You should ask them.
