Thanks to Adaptiv camouflage and miniaturized MTHEL/THEL turrets, large scale Aribissian planes are practically invulnerable to all but 30mils.  And flak, but not as much, because the camouflage plates also act as an armor of sorts.

I doubt the plates can act as an armor, anyways because A) They would break when a missile hits it, showing a flaw in the armor and B) Would be too heavy.

You think that you can fry a rocket flying at Mach 2 or higher?  You'd have to create an enormous amount of energy while flying in front of or in VERY close proximity of it if you're using flares or electromagnetic energy.  Also, wtf is a laser screen?
