Also, Svernland annexes Iceloch, seeing that its people are growingly more open to Svernland's sovereignty over them.  They are allowed to keep most of their holidays (most that underscore pagan beliefs were banned as official holidays) and Svernland added a new holiday, Bröderna Dag, meaning "Brothers' Day," to recognize the Icelochian culture and to recognize the union between Iceloch and Svernland.

The religious struggle in Iceloch is ended, as Lutheran missionaries finish in converting Iceloch into a Christian nation.  On Christmas Eve, Christians in Svernland raised their mead glasses in toast of their brothers, as they became brothers to them in an entirely new way.

Economy is still growing steadily. Within the last five years that Avalonian standard of living has risen dramatically. Crime has risen overall (because there were no laws during the anarchy), but since the rejoining of North and South Avalonia crime has dropped down to 3% of what it was. Violent crime has dropped down to .35% of what it was at the reunion.

Avalonia begins to make tanks and airplanes. Up until now the government couldn't really afford them. Next on the list is a solid navy.
