And I've been investing you on it, too.  In significant amounts.
This.

Can you give my scientists a lead on all your research?  You are free to use all Svernlochian biochemical labs, btw.  If war threatens your scientists, they will be removed, naturally, but as for now, all biochemical labs are open.  Other nations are encouraged to help search for a cure.

Emmerian scientists are moved to Svernlochian labs where they share information about what they know about how to cure the disease.

Try penicillin and move on from there.

It hates pennicillin, but in order for the virus to be killed by it, it is already in lethal amounts in the host.

The intake of cheeses seems to also speed up the disease.  Svernlochian scientists are wondering why.

Emmeria and Svernloch are now in a formal alliance.
Oh and I'm not getting involved in the war.

Acornian citizens soon put a new man in charge. A rebel. A rebel to control the rebels. He's not as peaceful as I was.

Svernloch tries injecting cows with an experimental syrum.  The milk is proven to be less harmful, and holds off the Sahranian Flu and the Zien Flu effectively, but the Pteradyn Flu seems to be resistant to this method.

Emmerian citizens quietly celebrate the new year.

Statistics roll in for the Pteradyn Flu:

In a summary, scientists have found that the Pteradyn Flu feeds off of three main things:

  • Bone Marrow
  • Caffeine
  • Nervous tissue near the spine

The virus breeds most effectively in the bone marrow, and will feast on nervous tissue near the spine, which explains the symptoms of paralysis and blindness, as well as kidney and liver failure.  Caffeine is found to speed up the flu's reproduction, and also allows to the host to suffer from hyperactivity, insomnia and heart failures.

Caffeine products, spicy foods (except onions) are banned in Svernloch and Emmeria.
