Medal of Honor, the recent edition provided by EA, regarding the Warfighter edition.
The fact that it was a near true story experience that portrayed the operations through Navy Seals member Neil Roberts in the conquest for Afghanistan was worth the playing time.
Mission 9 and 10 of the campaign really had it out for me; it was not the same story as what went down when I researched the guy, but it really had an impact on what could have happened.
(playing as Neil Roberts) Near the end of mission 9 you are compromised after finding the rally point held inside of a shack; pinned down by gunfire with multiple wounds, you are rushed, still under supression and decide on swan diving off of a cliff to save you and your comrade. At the bottom, both legs broken, you and your ally are surrounded by enemies that supposively ambushed the original rescue team and you both are soon taken away as prisoners to a built in cave system.
Mission 10 is all about taking a rescue effort for the above two soldiers; treking across roddly terrain to meet the enemy face to face. At the missions end, extractions are being cut short as Neil Roberts begins to bleed out to death, the final scene is of the extraction arriving minutes after Neil passes away. I found this ending really sad.
