Author Topic: DISHONORED - The new stealth awesomeness murdering game  (Read 6401 times)

i've been playing this for the last two days and it's yes

Good game, wish it was longer though.

if your playthrough is short then you're doing it wrong

they really hate whales in this game

You said "I got the stufftiest ending...." and you didn't expect a reply? The forget? oh yeah we're so aggressive now is it
it's a Stealth awesomeness murdering game.

I'm done here.

More than one way to do each mission doesn't make it longer though - Unless I were to re do each mission as I did them
There are more things other than other ways to do things

if your playthrough is short then you're doing it wrong

I have no idea how you played your game but I didn't kill anyone and ghosted every mission and it took <7 hours to complete. I also got all the runes.

try look at the art or something? (srsly no game looks like this)
YOU HAVE TO FEEEEEL THE GAAMEEEEE

you just suck. I could play it more hours than you. SO.

also stop playing on easy

i'm fairly sure this is impossible.  Did you just bypass everyone and use objective markers to go straight through the levels?

Well I didn't do the first mission ghost, but as soon as I learnt of the chaos level I didnt kill or be seen by anyone. I guess the only exception was the Boyle manor but I made sure not to be spotted at any point trespassing. I can't remember if that still gives you the ghost rating. Sleeping darts and choking people still gives you ghost rating too (although, I found it more fun to never use sleeping darts).

I also spent about an hour killing everyone in obnoxious ways before reloading a save point to carry on and did a lot of general exploring so I feel like I got pretty much all I will out of the game.

Edit: sry I just read nymethus' post. I played on hard straight away. I don't think it makes that much of a difference if you stealth through it. Oh and I was really obsessed with the game's lore so I spent awhile reading every book I came across until I realised most were duplicates.

And the 7 hour time is according to?  I'm really sure you didn't actually finish it in 7 hours.

2 real life days since i got the game, i usually play games for a bout 3 hours a day so I added an hour just to be more fair. I was going to say i did it in 6.

Hold on ill load up the game and check if there's a way to see play time.

Yeah there isn't and all of my saves haven't even got a date on them due to some error which I don't understand:

^I just deal with it. It's not a real problem.

Steam play time?
EDIT: WAIT.  You loving pirated it, I looked into the lack of timestamps and that's something that only happens in pirated versions.  You have no loving right to say anything about the length of the game.

And now we can't carry on this conversation. GJ
