I think one of my biggest problems with the way the OP set out this topic is the way in which he posted the map of previous British territories.

And then allowed the topic to progress to it all being about America.

As if he's suggesting Britain lost all it's territories due to being kicked out in Civil Wars, despite numerous territories being left due to the lack of need to run them, or having no benefit in staying there, or the local populace being able to provide a better government than those half-way across the world in Westminster.


Although, I will admit that OP didn't force it down the route of America vs Britain, since it was Alyx Vance that started it off with a stupid post about America mixed with idiotically patriotic phrases. I don't think anyone ever "kicked ass" in a war.
