Author Topic: More Advance Brick Destruction  (Read 978 times)

Ok,,, we all love to blow stuff up. But Blocklands way of destroying/respawning bricks is not always convenient (particularly for open warfare) perhaps Badspot could reinvent the block destruction making it more flexible.

You provide no details on what you want it to be like at all.
You're like "I don't like the way it works."
What about it do you not like, how can it be improved?
Ambiguous

Ambiguous
I believe you mean vague, not ambiguous.

Besides that part, ZSNO is right.

I think this is what you're looking for. http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=201845.0
He more likely wants a physics engine like geomod 2.0

Pretty sure he means when you blow bricks up they dont remain intact, like, you shoot a 1x10 with a rocket launcher, and it breaks into several different, smaller bricks. Also being able to walk on bricks rather than pushing them around like they are made of paper.

I think there's a mod for the first one

Hi
I think this is what you're looking for. http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=201845.0

...
How should I know what it is? It sounds like a mod for minecraft but I couldn't be sure.
Must everyone on the forums be an ass?

"like" is the key-word here.
That means that geomod 2.0 has a special physics engine that would allow for such things to happen.
This is most likely because geomod 2.0 is not Blockland because you most likely won't find a mod that changes the physics engine.
In fact, it most likely is about a seperate game, not even Minecraft.

In more factuality, this is geomod 2.0. :)

On-topic:
I am quite content with how Blockland handles it's physics.
This is of course, without looking in the direction of vehicular physics.
Vehicles and bricks in particular are the bane of physics in this game.

But i hope they will do that after they fixed most of the shadow and shader bugs, glitches and the such.
