Many people know that locking topics and editing all their posts out in Coding Help is generally a bad idea, but I think the ability should be removed because there might be further explanation needed or further issues, etc. There might also be a better solution than the one given. It could also be used as future reference for people (even if it's not related to the topic at hand).
I have to say/support
Also remove edit. Honestly, same reason as the normal help section. lol
And remove Topic Too old in all of forums...or lessen the minimum date.
It used to be any topic past 2 years old, now its like 8 months or less...
It's 2 months. There's a reason why it was lessened.
Why?
Now that I think about it, removing edit might be a bad idea for some circumstances. For example, if I were to type a massive tutorial and some information were to become outdated or whatever, I would be unable to update it
What about just allowing the editing of the OP?
I would really like a coding help sub forum for just references and tutorials.
I suppose, but the main problem with editing is that people edit their original questions out of the OP
so what do we do
