Author Topic: A Welcome Board? A Welcome Server?  (Read 458 times)

I was thinking, if blockland gets greenlit, the newbies will most likely be derping around the forums knowing no one and not how to talk like we do. It would be cool to also have a server that teaches these nubs on how to play blockland while not being a noob.

We want to make these players feel welcomed!

there's the tutorial; if they're too stupid to not take it then let them learn
and there's also the rules board here on the forum; again, if they're too stupid not to read then they'll learn.

also what do you mean "talk like we do"?

The tutorial is (sadly) kinda obscured now, lost in the scroll box of gamemodes...

We don't want silly people running around getting banned.

Like Roblox's Generic freebuild, except in Blockland. I guess it would be kind of like a master server.

That's true too.

The Tutorial isn't that obscure. When you run Blockland for the first time and click "Start Game" it's already selected.

Really? Didn't know that.
