but those are graphical universes, not story universes, so there should be no problem with tommy coming back in gta V

Dear god.

2D: GTA 1, GTA London 1969, GTA London 1961, GTA 2
3D: GTA III, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas, GTA Liberty City Stories, GTA Vice City Stories
HD: GTA IV, The Lost and Damned, The Ballad of Gay Tony, GTA V
You'll notice I left out GTA Advanced and Chinatown Wars. I left those out considering they are practically spin-offs, and don't at all have anything to do with the major story in the 3D and HD canons.

just saw some GTA 5 pre-order/coming soon boxes in my local Game shop. It had different styles like the bank  robber style and some chick being arrested

Did anyone read about Hurricane Sandy causing a power outage at Rockstar's New York office? Apparently that office is partially responsible for making the second trailer and the power outage is delaying the juicy media goodness.

Yes.

I still think we're getting the trailer Monday. The letter states that pre-orders begin November 5th, and talks as if the trailer has already been released.

going to the store

Starting today, Grand Theft Auto V is officially available for pre-order everywhere. For those of you that might prefer online retail to the more traditional brick and mortar, we've included a list of links to some popular retailers below (we'll add additional international retail links here as they become available).

We're also making available the newest official artwork from the game that was featured in last week's announcement. Grab “Beach Weather” from the Rockstar Downloads page and look for much, much more to be revealed - including the Game Informer cover story later this week as well as an update on the release of the next official trailer.

From the Rockstar Newswire

Oh and trailer 2 is coming out November 11th
