haven't been looking too much into the game, will it before pc?
and if so, where can I preorder?

unfortunately i've never played any gta besides 4, so the excitement doesnt reach me other than the fact that it's a weapons shop
But you've played gsf's maps and should feel the excitement that a gun shop portrayed in Blockland is being correctly made in gta!

In gta finding a gun shop in liberty city was like . . . finding a gun shop in New York.

Hard and dangerous.

OH sorry i played hardcore my first time through GTA IV. Never replayed it . . . i shoulda played normal first.

Btw the Dynamic sidemissions are gonna be loving badass.

Reading through the past 8 pages, I wish the girlfriend system was still around, but completely optional and fixed somewhat. I remember screwing around with that system for fun. I picked up a prostitute near the end of the night, then I'd call a girlfriend and go pick her up. The code would have her automatically throw out the prostitute, and she'd get angry. However, the prostitute would idle whenever she was in the car. When I got out, the girlfriend got out. Then they'd fight until we got back in. Funny. since you'd expect her to simply go "Bringing a prostitute to our date?! What the forget?"

Point being, I liked how exploitable that system was for strange moments.

Don't worry, you'll probably be able to pick up a hooker and try to bond with your son - forcing an awkward conversation or event.

here's a list of the details for those who dont want to read the very long story or wait for the magazine

Quote
Three protagonists, who can be switched on the fly. The one in the trailer is Michael, who is in his 40s and married with children. The other two are Trevor and Franklin. When the other protagonists are not being controlled, AI will take over and they will roam the world or assist in missions.

Only one city: Los Santos. But the city and the countryside are bigger than Red Dead Redemption, San Andreas and GTA IV's worlds combined! The ocean floor can also be explored. Mt Chiliad is back, as well as some sort of military base.

For the first time there is a musical score in the game that plays during missions, and is not played from a radio source (no mention of the actual radio stations).

Improved driving physics. Vehicles are less "big and boatlike". More vehicles than any other GTA. The Audi R8 is in the game as the "9F". Bicycles, ATVs and Jet Skis are back.

Entirely revamped shooting and melee mechanics from GTA IV. The phone is back, but you no longer get spammed with calls from friends. Internet can be browsed on phone.

Heists are a big theme of the game, and there are several heist missions in the game. Minigames are also back, such as yoga, tennis, triathlons, base-jumping and a full golf course. Some are exclusive to each protagonist. The dynamic random events from Red Dead Redemption will be in GTA V.

No girlfriends or dating. Friends are back. Each protagonist has their own circle of friends, including Lamar (Franklin's friend), Ron (Trevor's friend), Jimmy (Michael's son) and Amanda (Michael's wife). Some characters from GTA IV and TLAD and TBOGT will be back, but no characters from GTA III era, as they are seperate universes.

Along with that, they explicitly confirm no CJ, Tommy Vercetti or Niko. Interestingly, the new series is given an official name, the "high-definition universe". The GTA III era is apparently the 3D universe.

Other misc details.

Animals are in the game, including dogs that can be aggressive towards the player.

Desert (Blaine County) and planes available early on in the game. Parachutes are back.

Clothes customisation is back. No weight or muscle gain/loss, as it was too technically challenging.

Vastly improved draw distance compared to GTA IV.

You can flip people off out of the car window, and peds can react differently.

You can pour gasoline to start fires.

The tops of convertibles can be lowered at will.

    Ammu-nation is back!

    Rappelling down buildings is possible

No properties, but there will be "loads of other stuff" to spend money on.

Random encounters coming back in a "bigger way".

No celebrities have been casted for the game.

Wherever you got that is complete crap. Who lists details and lists "Miscellaneous details" as a detail? And they have no reading comprehension, when obviously in the article it stated that people from the III Era (3D Universe) will not return, but never said Niko wouldn't, and even went to say that we might see a minor character from IV since they are in fact in the same universe (HD).

Here is a better summary from GTAV.net

General Information:
There are 3 playable main characters. Their names are Trevor, Franklin and Michael.
You can switch between them at any point when not on a mission. When you switch, the camera zooms out into the sky and then back down to the character you switched to.
You can switch to another playable character during missions where they work together. This happens instantly.
Some missions will only have one of the main characters, whereas in other missions it may be two or all three together.
Each one has its own personality, motivations and skillset. When you're not controlling them, their lives continue and you may be surprised to see what situations they find themselves in when you switch back.
Each character has his own story arc.
Of the main storyline missions, there'll be several complex missions focussed on heists in style of "Three Leaf Clover" from GTAIV.
Some characters from GTAIV will make an appearance in V. Niko won't be one of them.
During research, Rockstar took over a quarter million photos this time!
Census information and vehicle sales data were used as a guide to depict the game world.
Big advances in the game's lighting model with vast increases and advances in draw distance and levels of detail.

Features:
You can flip off other characters in the game, and see interesting results dependent on who you're flipping off.
Vehicle physics have been updated. "The cars hold to the ground a bit better". It now feels more like a racing game, compared to GTA IV where they felt "big and boatlike".
After a hiatus in GTAIV, Ammu-Nation is back!
A lot of new side activities, including yoga, jet sking, base-jumping, tennis and golfing on a full golf course!
Rockstar felt that dating wouldn't fit in this game and have stripped this feature.
Mobile phone will return, but friends won't be calling as often as they did in GTAIV. It will be more streamlined and used for things like emails and Internet browsing.
Random character encounters throughout the map, much akin to those in GTAIV - but this time there's a greater variety and they're fully motion captured.
Dynamic missions, similar to Red Dead's "Unique World Events" make a return. Examples include characters with broken down cars, a hitch hiker, or two parked cars with dead bodies around them - which you can investigate to initiate dynamic missions.
Dynamic "state machines" were coded in the game, allowing non-playable characters to go about their daily lifes. For example, you may see gardeners and cleaners waiting at the bus stop in the morning, and then find them tending the gardens and houses in the game's fictional Beverly Hills later on in the day.

Locations:
GTAV's game world is bigger than the worlds of Red Dead Redemption, San Andreas and GTA IV combined!
Fully explorable Mount Chiliad
A military base
Salton Sea region
Wine country
Wilderness
Fully explorable ocean floor along the coastline

Vehicles:
Most vehicles in a GTA game to date, including - but not limited to:
BMX
Mountain Bikes
Road Bikes
Dirt bikes
Planes
Variety of cars and trucks
Helicopters
ATVs
Jet Skis

Character Profiles:

Michael

Michael is a retired bank robber, who made a deal with the FIB and is currently in the witness protection program.
Lives in a mansion in Rockford Hills (based on real-life Beverly Hills).
Married to wife Amanda, and has a teenage daughter named Tracy and teenage son Jimmy.

Trevor

Former military pilot
Lives in a trailer in Blaine County (desert).
Used to work a few bank jobs with Michael back in the day

Franklin

Early 20s, works at a luxury car dealership.
In the demo, he was driving around Vespucci Beach in his 9F (equivalent to Audi R8).

I'm really curious as to what happens when you kill Michael, Trevor, or Franklin in free roam. Like when they're NPCs.

i'd imagine if it allows you to do that it'd say "GAME OVER (or similar) You killed x/x is dead"
now i wonder if you'll actually be able to wonder into the other dudes. that'd be cool

i'd expect them to be invincible as npc's out-of-mission though
