Okay so I joined Heed's TDM today for the first time in a long time (haven't been on it since before the v21 update), and I was greeted with a sight I really didn't like. It was nothing like what I used to experience on his server. Now, the new build he's using is absolutely amazing, I have nothing but praise for his work on it. The problem i'm having with his server is a rather old one; it's been addressed and readdressed countless times in the multiple dramas his TDM server has had over the years, but for some reason it's still a problem and is growing worse, and he still has yet to solve it.
These problems need to be fixed, and now. Believe me, I do not like to drama this server; I have alot of fun on it sometimes but these things really frustrate me. But apparently, it once again has to be done.
Weapons ImbalanceAlright first off, and probably what bothered me the most is the
weapons imbalance. For the record, on Heed's v20 TDMs, blue team had advanced rifles and turrets, red had powerful explosives and lots of assault vehicles. The teams had imbalances with red being underpowered, and heed always said it wasn't a problem, IF players work as a team. Yeah right, only time that happens is when Manty, Lalam, him, or some other hotshot friend of his is leading the team. No other time does this happen, which is usually why I would sometimes just disconnect when heed started fighting on a team, be it red or blue, because I knew that no matter what happened, my team was going to lose. Heed always came up with a strategy and people would do what he said, and they'd win.
Anyways, now Blue
not only has their advanced rifles but
now they also get Red's RPGs. The RPG was red's best weapon against Blue, and now Blue has it. Now, Red's only powerful weapon they really have now is their battle rifle and grenade launchers, and both of those are still not a match for Blue's firepower now.
When I rejoined the server a second time, I got the opportunity to investigate Blue's loadout:

From this, the imbalance should be blatantly obvious. Blue's got so much advanced weapons and firepower which Red cannot possibly hope to match. Oh sure they can try, but Blue's advantage is very hard to beat. (except when heed is on Red; this is addressed in fourth point).
Also, thanks to Blue's now higher tactical advantage, plus their use of my fort (which I designed with a high defensive advantage to its owner in mind), I don't see how Red can ever win (heed will prove me wrong on this because he'll join Red and win like he
always does). While I don't mind team differences to add variety to the game, this has just gone way too far. Blue has a blatantly overpowered weaponset and because of this i'm now brought to my second point:
SPAWNCAMPING

RED IS SPAWNCAMPED ALOT. I kept seeing this in the first 5 minutes I was on the server (I was stuck on red the entire time). Blue team kept getting in planes/choppers, flying to red base, and getting inside their spawnroom to camp them with RPGs, Concussion grenades, and who knows what else. Red's stick grenades really don't solve the problem here; They stick in one spot and the blues simply walk away. Threat gone. A blue tosses a Conk grenade and it wildly bounces around the room, hits a red very quickly on a rebounce and kills almost every other red in the cramped room. This kind of cycle goes on until we finally tire the blues out and kill them with our pistols, or get lucky with a grenade.
Oh hey, now the second time I join the server, I am
immediately greeted with a complaint about spawncamping, too.

Map SetupA third and somewhat minor point I have is the map setup. Now, the biggest problem I have with this is that blue is able to quickly capture the center fort with their tactical advantage, and from there Red is pretty much set to be the underdog for the rest of the match. Now, for the record, this is my fort, and I designed it to withstand heavy attack. It's got armored walls and thick outer-defensive walls which protect it from attack. I have a picture of its setup here, which I managed to take while in a plane:

(By the way, do you see that
tiny gray tank with reds in it trying to attack the fort? Yeah, they died pretty fast.)
The fort is also
very conveniently positioned so there is a
direct line-of-fire and defense from it to Red base, and it is blocked off from the view of Blue base at the back by that big mountain. This means that blue can easily fight off attacks from Red base, and can easily retake the base too since the mountain means they can sneak up behind and overwhelm the base, retaking it.
Red can't attack with vehicles here very well either, since Blue can easily blast away the foot-soldiers with RPGs and wipe out their tanks and trucks with those stupid Concussion grenades. Oh, and red planes cant stay in the air very long either thanks to that giant anti-aircraft gun happily situated on top.
Blue almost ALWAYS has this point under their control. Red has captured it for brief periods but it almost always is the forward post for Blue team. Only times I have ever seen Red actually take charge and keep this under control is when Heed is around (once again addressed in my next point)
The position of this fort, or perhaps rather how its terrain is arranged, is a problem that only contributes to the great imbalance between the teams. If that mountain between it and blue base was removed, I think it'd make a big difference. Red could defend it more easily, and Blue couldn't simply sneak up, ambush and retake it.
Heedicalking always winsFourth and final point I have to make here. When I joined the server a third time, I noticed heed was fighting on red, and red was dominating big time. This is an excerpt from the chat that took place relatively fast on the server:

I've often noticed that whenever heed joins a team and fights, this kind of thing happens and his team always wins the round. I almost NEVER see him lose. Whenever he's fighting on Red, they win. On blue, they win. It doesn't matter, he wins no matter what and that's what I hate. No matter how awful the team is, they always seem to listen to him, snap to attention and fight. Yet I never see this happen if anyone else tries to lead the team. This just annoys the daylights out of me. He'll probably use his countless victories on Red as testimony against my points made here; That wouldn't surprise me at all.
Anyways, just to sum up, Heedicalking's TDM once again has a massively annoying imbalance and I really can't stand it. This is to let everyone else know what the server is really like, too.
These problems need to be addressed, once and for all. And when I say addressed, I don't mean dismissed as false and forgotten about.
These things are PROBLEMS and they NEED to be fixed.
