Go over your current psychic powers
You take out the Tome of Imagination, a yellow scroll with very ancient writings.
It reads very strangely. All other texts from your world are written in what scholars call "Ye Golde Oldes," lots of 'thees' and 'thous' and '-eths' like the Great Harbinger spoke. But this text is written differently. The ancients called it "slagspeak" or "hippytosh." There was only one other text not written in Golde Oldes, and that was the great Manual. It spoke of some magical item called a "stereo record player" from some sort of "year" called "1976." It introduced the slagspeak to the people as it was the language of the eldergods. The werewolves got to it first, using new words like "dude" and "bro" and "awesome" but it later spread.
There was one final book that was claimed to be a part of the eldergod's possession, but it was still debated whether or not it was them or the Harbinger's doing, as it described your world in great detail. To some it was even considered a holy text.
The book was called "Players Guide" and was supposedly written by the very first Eldergod, Gariguiagax. Statues of the great Gariguiagax are littered across the northern lands as sects of his religion haven't been completely crushed by the followers of Harbinger and the great Cataclysm, the "true" religion of the land.
You aren't really sure you believe in some Harbinger that controls fate and creation, but then you're not sure you believe in some Gariguigax who created The Levelops that you use every day.
You're not even sure if you believe in "record players."
The Tome of Imagination lists out a very detailed excerpt of all sorts of powers and magics of your personal affiliation. You learned at a young age you were a Psychomancer, and this scroll was given to you by a strange man with a vendor's cart.
The powers you know so far are thus:
Telekinesis (lifting objects with your mind)
Thought-reading (self explanitory)
Manipulation (putting ideas into other people's heads and being very persuasive about them)
Psy-bolt (a burst of power much like the common evocation spell Magic Missile, but not nearly as weak)
Show inventory.
You put the Tome away and check your pack (that you totally had this whole time) and see what's inside.
Inside are two Imagination Ingots, two pieces of Mental Fabric, the Tome of Imagination, and a Health Potion (60/80 HP restore available).
Why not make insulated armor.
You decide this cold is just too much to take and craft a Shawl of Thoughtful Warmth (the feelings of a mother's tight embrace on a long winter's night enclose you in a peaceful heat). This will provide you with +5 DEF, and +10 HP restore against all freezing spells per turn. You lose one mental fabric.
