Author Topic: Steam Games- The Wierdest Errors...  (Read 1956 times)

Today, I decided to get Gmod 13 again. I went and hit download, and it surprisingly started at 73%. Then TF2 had an update. Then, for no reason, Gmod 13 stops downloading (After TF2 was done). It stopped at about 79%. Then I decided I don't need it, so I tried to delete it. It then said "Removing Local Files..." and steam stopped responding. I kept trying to uninstall and it still didn't respond. HELP PLEASE!

Quit steam
Restart steam
???
Profit

if steam is completely frozen then:

ctrl+alt+delete go to processes and look for steam.exe select it and then click end process

actually i just realized it doesn't matter what os you use...if you want to "uninstall" steam just delete the steam folder, this will delete all your games and you will have to reinstall them but that's the only thing i can think of, maybe try the steam forums

Ok 1. You never stated you restarted steam in your post.
2. You're too vague by "I tried to uninstall it."

sorry about that, go to:

C:\Program Filesx86\Steam\steamapps\(steam user name)

you should find the gmod folder in there, just delete the whole folder
