It isn't a glitch, it has to do with how it looks for answers. It's a logical hole in design choice.

The correct thing to say was still in your answer (G). I'm assuming this system exists to account for misspelling and unnecessary words.

The game would be nearly unplayable if you had to have the exact matching string for every answer.

i was gonna say PG, which also accompanies it all
i wouldn't be surprised if putting the correct answer followed by some characters that don't fit the basic answer is right

they probably should have capped the allowed amount of characters, but what if somebody wrote "PG RATING" and they got it wrong? would that not technically be right? also should we expect so much from an NES game?
