some of the LEVEL# .wavs are really strange, i would have assumed that only parts of the audio sample were used so you could have all the levels sound effects in one file; but some of the clips cut off at points where it doesn't sound entirely right, and it doesn't really flow as a loop either. strange.

They're the raw uncut .sampl files (or .sam, in some instances) where the sounds are from. They're not really meant to be used other than for reference.

EDIT: also, i searched up exactly what alter said in his post on google, "odo's commodore 64 sample pack", and the first result is some blog post with a link to all the various files on a website called skydrive.
https://skydrive.live.com/?cid=36100258f4c878f7&id=36100258F4C878F7%21243
there you can click the "Details View" button in the top right corner, select all the boxes next to all of the files, and click the "Download" button at the top. it'll put all of them into one file called "skydrive-[year]-[month]-[day]", and save it as a zip file. pretty neat.

Thanks, I got them from there but I didn't want to post it because it was to inconvenient to download them individually (though there's apparently that option to download them all so yeah thumps up dude)

Doombringer

A little NES Super Turrican inspiration (inspiration being at "hey this is practically the same" tier) for this one. For the same level group as Lock 'n' Load Constance, which is why they sound similar.

SID Samples v2 (A few more drums, lotsa digi-tune stuff, more leads and a few more basses)

Also Freesounds also has some really nice 8-bit sounds:

Also bump and sorry for triple post.

i think ill just remake an already existing song since i'm having so much trouble making up my own.
perhaps maybe quite possibly somewhat expect something from me.

Yo.
Hey ST
Think you guys would be interested in making music for a game?
Yes I'm srs.

i made something a lot longer and a lot better but i can't post it yet because i don't think it flows enough and some of my instruments just aren't old-feeling enough

i seriously seriously seriously really need a good set of as many old gameboy chimes, blips and crackles because i definitely need it

Wow "Built to Rule" is a pretty neat track

Hats off to you Alteration.

Higher Quality .mp3

I had to butcher the quality to fit all the song in, so this should sound nicer.

You guys should compile all your songs into separate albums so it takes less clicking to listen and download them

Also, do you guys use MIDI Keyboards or just computer keyboards?

SID Samples v3

Not much added this time. Includes a very good lead, weird chimes, wind, and some nice drums.

Hello! I haven't made anything chiptune (that's good, at least) in a really long time, but I like to compose, so I'm interested in joining.

Is it a requirement to use MilkyTracker? I am much more used to using Famitracker, but I wouldn't mind switching over to MT if it's better.
